if you are staying in Ottawa for a few days, see the changing of the guards one day and do the guided tour of the Parliament another day, because if you go on a guided tour while the changing of the guards is on, the groups are much smaller and you don´t have to "fight" with 40 other tourists to... more

I wish that we would have had more time to actually tour the Parliament building, but we were just there for a photo stop. We were very impressed with the architecture and layout of Parliament HIll though, and the Centenniel Flame was also a sight to see. Others in our tour had taken the guided tour of the Parliament building... more

Sep 1, 2005. Gray Line tour of Ottawa. Our first driver, Ron, picked us up at the motel at 9:15 and took us to the Kiosk to purchase our tickets [$52 with tax and discount, good for 2 days]. we were very impressed with everything about the parliament hill trip, ....right from the tour to the changing of the guard. The structure of the building is absolutely beautiful. We watched the light show which was amazing. The changing of the guard was really something to see. We really enjoyed our trip, not only to Ottawa , but seeing everything... more
