The peak tram is THE experience for Hong Kong fans. I would highly recommend that you do it not just once, but twice - once on a clear suny day and again at night. A bit pricey, but it's a unique ride. I don't know how steep this tram ride up to the peak actually is, but it feels vertical! Not for the faint hearted as it feels like you could drop at any moment! We were there 30th October 2005. The tram is not the only way to get up to the Peak. It may be good for the experience, however, be prepared to waste time in a long queue with the crowds (and we were not even visiting during the peak tourist season).
