I went to Botanic Gardens on 9th Dec, 2008 and found it to be an amazingly beautiful place. We originally did not have Singapore Botanic Gardens in our itinerary. We had free time around lunch so we just took a taxi there. After the visit, it turned out to be the place we love most as well as Sentosa Island. There were so many trees, plants, grasses, flowers and they were well taken care. We enjoyed the slow... more

I visited November 11, 2007. We took a taxi based on other feedback. The Gardin had a surprising number of families with kids playing in a park area upon enterring. If you have children with you, this is a good place to let them run around. Also, the temperature upon entering was very pleasant. Cooler than in the city. I... more

The Botanic Gardens are situated about a 10-15minute walk from the top of Orchard Road if you go in by the Tanglin gate or catch a taxi to the main visitors entrance from other parts of SIngapore. You can wander round the gardens at pretty much your own pace as there is alot to see - with entrance being free... more
