We had a great time at the Plaza de Armas in Cusco. The views were lovely, lots of photo ops. And we did not feel at all harrassed by the shopkeepers and vendors, we did in a couple of other areas in Cusco but not here. A must see for Cusco. more

On our arrival to Cusco, our "angel" guide, took us to the parade and festival that was going on in town! I believe she said it was the last weekend for the Festival of the Three Crosses. Cusco's Plaza de Armas is a lovely square - at first glance, I thought it would be the perfect place to hang out, relax, and people watch under Cusco's sunny blue skies.
