Dubai was our last stop before returning to Perth on our world trip mid june 2008. 4 days 3 nights trully were not enough to unravel Dubai. If i was going to give advice to anyone it would be to stick to simple jewellery. I had a ring designed and made by Mashoom Jewellers in the Gold Souk and the diamonds fell out twice. Gold Souk is definetly worth a visit where you have not seen so many shops in one strech selling gold. If you into buying gold then this is the place where you can bargain and buy some good Jewellery. I haven't been to the Gold Souk since 1998 when I was in the Navy, but it is an experience that I will never forget. I still wear the jewlery that I bought from there and it still looks like brand new. If I ever had to live anywhere else in the world it would be Dubai. I loved everything... more
