I should have read the other on-line review before I bought an expensive bronze statue from the museum store. I was charged $500 for crating and sea shipment to the US. It arrived poorly packed in cardboard and in many pieces. How could they be so stupid to tape together a few old boxes and expect a 110 pound art... more

The Museum is miraculous. Just don't purchase any of the art there. I did and it arrived damaged. I charged the bells I bought and will get the money back but had to spend a large amount to send it back. They don't pack their merchandise properly. more

An interesting place to spend a couple hours if you are in Wuhan. The musical instruments are amazing considering the age and the 15 minute recital is something a little bit different. It probably helps if you are interested in ancient archaelogy. more

This is a superb museum for anyone interested in archaelogy in any shape or form. It contains the artefacts excavated from the tomb of a Marquis who lived in the area about 2300 years ago. The star exhibit is a musical instrument rather like a giant upright xylophone. The climax of my visit was a concert given by local musicians... more
