The Trop is basically what you would expect from any of the name casinos in Vegas. The drinks are VERY slow if you are not at the high min. tables. The resort itself is a long walk to the rest of the major casinos and the boardwalk pier. It was like walking from Bellagio to the corner with New York... more

I'm a Diamond Club member so I'm probably a little biased but this is the only casino I gamble at in Atlantic City. The table mininums are not outrageous and the dealers at the blackjack tables (that's all I play) are predominately funny and engaging. I'm going to keep going as long as I keep winning more

Who can go to Atlantic City and not gamble at the Tropicana. Honestly we were in most of the Casinos in Atlantic City and by far the Tropicana is the nicest. The Tropicana is well themed with an island feel. It is well priced with moderate minimum bets. The casino is clean and has much more to do than just... more

Had a Ladies only Friday-Saturday overnight at the Tropicana. Stayed in the Havana Tower. Paid full price. Had stayed in the original Tropicana building about 5 years ago so I feel The Quarter was an improvment. Pros for the Quarter: Dedicated Valet Parking - they were very pleasant Kiosk Check in - no need to wait on line and very... more

Stayed at the Tropicana for a girls getaway....wednesday thru friday.......... After reading all the negative reviews, I was a little worried about the Tropicana. We stayed in the West Tower and the room was basic. There was a mini fridge and the bathroom was huge. Beds were ok, although you could tell the mattress was 100 years old! The check... more

Our first trip to that abysmal, wretched casino is, with all certainty, our last one. Having the desire to try the slots in ALL of Atlantic City's casinos, we took a jitney to the Hilton, and then walked over to the Tropicana via Pacific Avenue. Attempting to locate the Tropicana's entrance, from Pacific Avenue, was frustrating. There was only one... more

We find ur Casino number one. We don't have to travel anymore to the other casinos but we will make a home at urs. Also the ICE FUSION show was great especially the MC, comedian, aerialist and the singer. Skating was great. Congrats and keep up the good work more

My husband and I have been coming to the Tropicana for over 20 years now. We have seen many changes over the years, some great ideas and some not so great ideas but mostly what keeps us coming back is the sense that we are "family". Our game of choice has been poker so we are far from high rollers... more

I just returned from a 3 night stay in the Havana Tower at the Trop. The rooms were very ordinary and not impressive. The check-in procedure was terrible as was the bell service. Just getting from the valet to your room is quite a hassle. It is also worth noting that the trip form your room to the boardwalk is... more

Wow. Just returned from a 2-night stay at the Tropicana during the week of July 4th and have to admit that I was truly impressed. The hotel is HUGE (very easy to get lost) and wonderfully designed. I stayed in the West Tower and had a very nice room. Nicely decorated, big bathroom and one of the most comfortable beds... more
