The Quarter is a beautifully-designed enclosed shopping mall located in the Tropicana Casino Resort, it gives something for non-gamblers to do AND it is really a sight to see! This is one of the better shopping/dining destinations in AC when you want to get away from the casino. There are numerous full dining choices (Palm, Red Square, Carmine's, and Cuban and Irish restaurants). What a joke this place was! We went one eve. with 4 women the place was empty. There were more staff than guests. I went to sit down at a booth. They were ALL empty. A security guy came running over to tell me it is a VIP booth. I asked him where I could sit for free. The answer... more

Because we stayed at the Days Inn next to the Trop, we frequented the Tropicana more than any other casino. The Quarter was wonderful because I'm not a big gambler, and it gave us something else to do. It has nice shops and good restaurants. Fantastic accomodations with everything located under 1 roof. Everything was perfect. Havana Tower room was beautiful with comfortable king bed, fridge, great water pressure and extremely, extremely clean. Dined at Red Square, Cuba Libre and RI-RA all have excellent food and service. Although still under construction, the Tropicana Quarters is quite beautiful. The room was new and clean; the bathroom was large and had all the amenities we needed for an overnight stay. The new shopping/restaurant section is beautiful and worth seeing. You could almost imagine being in a Vegas Resort, just on a smaller scale. The only downside to this hotel... more
