Egypt’s answer to Benidorm.! If you like McDonald's, KFC, TGI Friday's, breakfast all day and throwing up in the gutter, then you have just hit the mother load! For anyone else this is hell on earth, give it a wide berth. I noticed some reviewers comparing it to Blackpool which was a bit unfair to Blackpool. Sure it does not... more

Oh dear, what has happened to Na'ama? We are Sharm regulars - 11 times in the last 4 years, spent mostly under water. We returned in June, eager to introduce new friends to the delights of a buzzing Na'ama at night. We were disappointed to find that there's a lot more of a hum than a buzz - the place... more

I could not believe Na'ama Bay... it is awful... like Blackpool or somewhere like that. It's embarrassing that the locals think all British want that type of place, going to Egypt to eat in McDonalds or pizza hut? may as well go to Benidorm.. can only say would NEVER go back to Sharm based on this place. Luckily found a... more

Me and my best friend went to Sharm last July, the first time we went out down Naama bay was a little scary, but after an hour or so and a few drinks we had an amazing time. We found all the locals really friendly. The next day when we went during the day, most of the locals rememberd us... more

If you go to Sharm, you will get a bit of Blackpool but the locals are friendly if you are not horrible and ignorant to them. Most visitors to Sharm are divers and I go there two or three times every year. We don't want "perfect" but we do want good accommodation, good food and good nightlife. Naama provides it... more

Its Costa del Egypt! You can drink Stella Wife Beater beer till you fall over, eat in the most delightful restaurants including Mc Donalds AND Pizza Hut, watch premiership footie on the telly, moan about the 'locals' and their strange habits and completely forget you have left dear old blighty, oh.... except for the damned heat..... make sure we got... more

Arrived back last night from Sharm and everyone told us to go to Naama Bay. Do you realy want Blackpool with heat? Pestered by touts for shopping, and I can live with some of it, tried to buy some decent Egyptian souveniers but 95% of the stuff is made in Taiwan. Lots of lights, hooka pipes and aggresive taxi drivers... more

I came to Sharm 5 years ago & went to Na`ama bay. At that time it was a bustly market town with lots of Eygptian life to see. Now, the cooperate cash machine is taking over! KFC, Pizza Hut & the golden arches have taken over & eveywhere you look someone is trying to make a quick buck .... not... more

Na'ama Bay is an awesome place to go. I would most certainly recommend you visit the Hard Rock Cafe. Not only is it cheap, the atmosphere in there is outstanding. Pizza Hut is stinking dirty and I do not recommend you eat there. My plate had left over cheese from the last pizza, the toilets were foul. There is a... more

Just come back from a week in Sharm and what I wouldn't give to go back! Hotels are lovely, local people are very friendly, food and drink unreasonably cheap, nightlife is unbelievable - what more could you ask for?! Bars, Clubs and Restaurants - loads of variety - something for everyone. Hard Rock Cafe, Camel Bar, Pacha and La Dolce... more
