Tabacon hot springs was beautiful and I believe well worth the money.. BUT, do watch out for the prices of drinks. We had a large bottle of water, one cocktail and two beers and our tab was almost $30.00 .. a little steep I thought!! Dinner was really great, they had a salad bar and a number of options for... more

We booked for the Tabacon Hot Springs and Dinner Package after reading all the wonderful reviews on this everywhere. We were disappointed by what we saw and what we got . The value for the money $ 75 per person after 6 pm ! This place is over crowded with people like in a 6 flags amusement park ! The... more

We spend a day hiking, and then planned to soak in the hot springs at night. What a great choice! We got the evening pass with dinner (6-10pm, $60 per person), and I think we made the right choice. At night it is so romantic - it's dark and the hot springs make mist rise everywhere. It was not overly... more

My husband and I spent the day at Tabacon Springs and it was a truly memorable experience! If anyone was going to Costa Rica I would tell them to definately take the plunge! We decided on the 10am to 7pm? ticket including lunch as it was the best value, but because we had no accomodation organised that night we didn't... more

I went to Tabacon for dinner and to check out the hot springs. The total price for dinner and entrance, for two, was $120 plus tax. A little steep but probably still a fair price. While my favourite is still Ecothermales, Tabacon has a lot to offer. The grounds are incredible. There is a pool area, with a bunch of cool refreshing... more

This is my first hot springs visit, so I have nothing to compare it to unfortunately! We loved Tabacon, we are 30 with a 7 year old and all three of us had a great time. We spent about an hour and 45 minutes exploring the many different pools, some rocky and difficult to traverse in the dark. The pools... more

My hubby and I bought day passes, with dinner included. We enjoyed the hot springs for about two hours and it felt fabulous. The grounds were very tranquil and there were several pools to choose from! Our favorite pools had waterfalls that were great for pounding back massages. We were able to find a few secluded pools, but they wouldn't... more

Due to the reviews saying that it was basically the same thing, my husband and I opted to go to the less expensive hot springs instead, and were disappointed by the pools that looked like...well, swimming pools, and the price-gouging in other areas to make up for the lower cost of admission. Later in the week, we decided to try... more

After reading several bad reviews on Tabacon I was unsure of going. Tabacon Hot Springs are worth the entrance fee. We went to the Eco Thermales the night before Tabacon and there is no comparison. Tabacon has TRUE Hot Springs vs. hot pools. We loved the lush rainforest and beautiful grounds. Dinner was just okay. I exchanged towels 5 times... more
