We visited the famous Capitol last week and enjoyed it. The grounds are well-landscaped, and the steps are even interesting, with one for each of the then 48 states (AK and HI got added to the top row). Both Baton Rouge and the state have very helpful travel counselors at desks just inside the front door. The entryway is very... more
