This is a lovely place. We were on the tail end of a hurricane so we didn't do any strolling, but we could see even through the rain that this is a beautiful nature center. There is also a cranberry bog on the premises that can be viewed up close. The jam kitchen is a fragrant step back in time.... more

Attractions like the Greenbriar Nature Center and Jam Kitchen are often overlooked by tourists, but this is one that I'd highly recommend. Started by Ida Putnam in 1903, the Greenbriar Jam Kitchen still makes jam, jelly, and preserves the old-fashioned way using utensils that have been in the kitchen for many years.
