The Mount was one of the most tranquil places I've ever visited. We were fortunate to visit on a weekday in May, and had the place to ourselves for two hours. It's obvious that much more money is needed to compete this restoration. But even with only about half the rooms restored, this is still very much worth visiting! more

We visited the Mount and took the tour through the house and gardens. We were so excited to see that the mansion is being taken care of. The Mount is interesting, because of who the owner was, but when we saw it last year more than half of it was still unrenovated, yet we were charged (I believe) about $16 admission.
