The hotel enjoys a good location in downtown Vancouver. Valet parking and concierge services were efficient and smiling. The reception desk however seemed to be staffed with very young/unexperienced personnel. The Westin is a typical Westin property, only instead of simple box rooms, it had these odd-shaped suites shaped. It was a 100 unit condo building that Westin converted into 200 suites. They are comfortable and have great views of the mountains and Vancouver. The challenge for the hotel is that there are over 30 floors and only 2 elevators.... more
