We stayed two nights at Abigail's Hotel and were delighted! Upon arrival, the front desk staff presented us with home-baked cookies and walked us up to our room. Nice service! We stayed in one of the Sunflower Rooms (one queen bed, no fireplace, private bathroom). The room was beautifully decorated with cheery floral fabics. The bathroom is small (toilet and... more

We stayed at Abigail’s Hotel in Victoria one of the “Unique Inns” in the west, a collection of the finest owner-inspired lodgings in British Columbia, Washington, Idaho, Oregon and California. What a great find tucked away in a neighborhood within walking distance to downtown Victoria. The room was well decorated, comfortable and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly, providing information... more

Abagail's was wonderful. In a quiet neighborhood, it's only a ten minute walk down to the inner harbor. The breakfasts were very tasty (note that if you don't care for any of the breakfast options you can request, i.e., scrambled eggs). Coffee is available free of charge throughout the day. Extra breakfast muffins are put out near the coffee for... more

We've stayed at Abigail's several times, and love everything about it. It's like having your own country home - in the middle of a beautiful city. Rooms are always immaculate and every detail is thoughtful and perfect. Breakfast is beyond excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful. There isn't a fitness center, but the Y is excellent, and only a couple... more

We stayed 3 lovely nights at this small, intimate hotel and enjoyed every minute. It was large enough to afford privacy but small enough to meet & greet the other guests (if desired) at breakfast on the beautiful garden patio. The staff were a perfect mix of personal and professional, we felt very pampered and were surrounded by luxurious accommodations... more

My husband, mother and I stayed at Abigail's during the last week of March 2008. This hotel is a delight. The staff was helpful and provided great tips for dining locations. The rooms were clean and cozy. Wireless was free. Abigail's offers a breakfast each morning for $15. After the first day trying it out, we decided to start each... more

We took a four day break from Calgary and stayed at Abigails. On previous breaks to Victoria, we have stayed at Laurel Point and Executive House, and they were just fine. But this time we wanted a more personal experience and something smaller. Abigails did not disappoint us in any way. Location: A short very pleasant walk from the harbor,... more

My husband and I had the good fortune of staying at Abigail's for a business conference in early March. What a delight from beginning to end! Everything was perfect. The staff were the best, the chef was the best, the beds are the best, the service was without a doubt the best. We had to check out after 2 nights... more

Recently, I had the pleasure of staying at Abigail’s hotel while attending a business meeting in Victoria. The rooms are very clean and quiet and very comfortable. The bathroom was truly beautiful with a large claw foot tub and a giant sunflower shower head. The breakfast served buffet style was perfect, offering fresh fruit, cereals as well as a hot... more

I recently had occasion to be on business in Victoria, BC. I frequently choose smaller properties when I travel preferring the higher level of service and the unique nature of independently owned and operated hotels. My expectations were consistently and thoroughly exceeded at Abigail’s Hotel from the moment I made my reservation until the after I reluctantly checked out. The... more
