Stayed here from August 14-16, 2008. Hotel was only a year old and still showed how new it was. Lobby is nothing too special though there was a fireplace, a bar, sitting area, 24 hour complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. I booked a room here for a weekend getaway to Halifax. It was my first visit there, and all I knew was that I wanted to be at a property that was close to the historic harbor and Citadel. New Hotel built a year or so ago - staff were very friendly, 10 minute walk along the harbour front to downtown -- Hotel rooms were very clean -- a great alternative to the traditional hotels located right downtown -- and I still had a great harbour view...and the price was very reasonable... more

I stayed at this wonderful hotel for two nights in mid-April. I was in Halifax for business. The conference I was attending was at the Marriott Harbourfront, but because they were full, I ended up staying in the Marriott Courtyard, which turned out to be a very good thing!
