The rooms and lobby were clean and impeccably maintained and the hotel staff friendly and helpful. The best part was the kitchen in my suite, which had the essentials for cooking and adequate refrigerator and storage space to be able to enjoy food preparation and eating in the room. I was even able to have my son and his family... more

Don't understand the bad reviews I saw here before booking. This hotel is perfect! Clean, comfortable, nice rooms size, and... Really affordable! Booked through the hotel website, 98CA a night. Try to find this price everywhere else in Ottawa, you'll sleep in cheap and maybe not sot clean motel in a surberbean area. Highly recommended!!! more

The room was neat and clean althouh the TV faced the other direction - against a wall so I couldn't even enjoy laying in bed to watch TV not to mention it didn't have a simple RCA connection being a business suite I assumed there would be one for an edit overview I had to do for an important project.... more

We had booked the hotel just the night before we stayed. We requested a non-smoking room. When we checked in, the front desk didn’t say anything. When we got into our room, we realized it was a smoking room. We called the front desk; she said that was the last room they had. Our room was in the top floor... more

I stayed here while on business for a few days. I certainly appreciated the kitche facilities....it's nice not to have to go out for every meal. My room was pretty clean, the staff were friendly, and I loved being so close to downtown without having to be right in the middle of it. The price was great too for a... more

Not seriously uncomfortable but definitely not The Ritz. Location was convenient for us. Neighbouring street is noisy at night with festivity (not fighting); however, convenience stores and restaurants are nearby. Underground parking provides security for the car with come-and-go privilege. Kitchenette and bathroom are small but adequate. Having the kitchenette allowed us to enhance the minimal continental breakfast with extra... more

We stayed here for a week and were very happy with it. The hotel is clean, the rooms equally so, and the bed was very comfortable. We had a full suite with living room, bedroom, kitchen and bath. The bathroom is quite small, but manageable. Though there are plenty of good restaurants close by, the kitchen was practical and the... more

My partner and I stayed at the Bostonian from August 6 to August 9, 2007. We chose this hotel for its convenient location, full kitchen, low rates ($98 a night), and continental breakfast which was included in the price. The breakfrast included self-servings of a variety of baked goods as well as fruit salad, coffee, and orange juice as much... more

This hotel looks very nice when you first enter but don't be deceived. From the moment we checked in until we checked out it was less than adequate. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful to the couple before us offering suggestions for their weekend touring and even providing them with two passes to the Jazz festival. When we stepped... more

The only hotel that had both June 30th and July 1st available on Canada Day weekend. Bit pricier than we had hoped for but much cheaper than other hotels. Check in was very quick. The room was impressive. Very much like an apartment, it had a bathroom, a living room, a kitchen, and a bedroom as a separate room. The... more
