Very good service and good food. Rooms were good too except the bathroom was really tired with old fittings and tiles. Stayed five nights at the Royal York. Loved the location which meant I could walk everywhere with the access to underground walkways. Although the lobby and main areas were beautiful and very classy, the guest rooms left something to be desired. My carpet was sticky, the walls were dusty and I was given towels that could have used a run through the wash with bleach. Just arrived back from a 3 night stay at the fairmont. Was disappointed with our room just seemed a little tired and run down not really what we expected but saying that we had a wonderful time and your not in room for long!! Nice bar and lovely breakfast in Yorks Kitchen and great location more
