Not only have I told everyone who has asked me about my weekend in Dublin about The Butlers Townhouse but I felt compelled to inform the rest of you in cyber world about this hotel. It is filled with character from the Victorian era, has the most beautiful decor, the friendliest, accommodating and attentive staff I have encountered and I... more

After spending hours searching the web for a special hotel in Dublin, my husband and I were not disappointed. We were greeted like old friends by Kieran and given tea in the drawing room which was very welcome after flying in from the UK. Our room was compact but beautiful, with lovely furnishings including a four poster bed. We didn't... more

Our three day stay in Dublin was made even more enjoyable by stopping at the Butlers Townhouse. From the opening greeting by Cecelia and the very welcome tea she supplied which strictly speaking we were probably not entitled to, we knew this was the right place to stay. Wether it was the very friendly staff (everyone without exception) and the... more

Stayed five nights booking two adjoining rooms. Comfortable and non-corporate which we appreciated after a previous stay in one of the larger hotels in the city. It is a walk from the centre but we wanted to be close to the nearby RDS exhibition centre. The DART (4 mins away) was great for getting along the coast for lovely walks.... more

If you enjoy staying in a comfortable, affordable and gracious Hotel in Dublin this is where to go. We selected this site from the Travel bureau of Ireland book and just got lucky. The clean gracious rooms allowed us to feel relaxed and at home. The staff went out of their way to please us and took the time and... more

We stayed in Butlers for one night recently, It was very enjoyable and relaxing, a wonderful 4 poster bed with classy furniture. The bathroom was a good size with high quality bathrobes and towels. There was tea/coffee available free of charge and delivered by the reception staff, a lovely touch. The breakfast was wonderful, I had poached haddock and my... more

We have just returned from a lovely stay at Butlers Town House. We had Atherom (I think!) and the room was a good size with a really comfortable 4 poster bed. We were made to feel really welcome and the staff could not do enough for us. The breakfast was fantastic - thoroughly enjoyed the full Irish. The only comment... more

We booked this hotel as a replacement to our original honeymoon plans and we were not disappointed. Even though we arrived on the very early flight from London, the hotel welcomed us with tea and toast and our room was available as soon as possible. The room was lovely, the 4 poster bed was spectacular and all in all the... more

Was booked into this hotel by the company hosting my speaking event so knew nothing about it. Had a great experience. The manager Suzanne personally met me and made me feel very welcome and her staff really helped me out with some small tasks I needed done like printing. The lounge area (the original reception room of what is a... more
