We went here on our honeymoon and were pleased with most things: Positives: * Very nice room - the junior suite that is. * A very quiet neighbourhood. * Polite and professional staff. * Champagne for breakfast! * Great service with shuttle to and from Piazza di Spagna. It was needed and appreciated. Negatives were just som minor things: *When... more

Our family of four, including two children aged 18 and 19, stayed at the Duke for three days. We requested rooms that adjoined. We booked our hotels from the US about a month before our travel date. We received exactly what we asked for and the rooms were very nice. We were on a 17 day rode trip through Europe... more

Myself, my husband and our eight year old son stayed at the Duke Hotel for one night at the very end of our trip to Italy this past July. We had stayed in a more centrally located hotel for the first two nights of our trip. However, my son felt that our room at the other hotel had been too... more

Me and my wife went to The Duke Hotel, in Rome, really afraid about the location because we thought that it was too far from the historical center. But we had a great surprise. The hotel is great... we stayed in a beautiful suite with 02 LCD Tvs and a spacious bathroom. About the distance from the historical center: a... more

We used the Duke as a base for a week in Rome to start our honeymoon and we couldn't have chosen a better hotel. Absolutely everything at this hotel was amazing - food, room, staff, cleanliness - not a single thing we could find fault with. We fell in love with the hotel and will definately be going back (don't... more

We stayed 3 nights at the Duke and found it ideal for the needs of a family of 4 looking for a fairly high standard of comfort. We had an attractive and spacious room with a large balcony, with room for table and chairs - could easily have enjoyed a room service meal on it if we'd been so inclined.... more

If I had to travel to Rome a second time, I would select a place closer to town. This might be a good choice for a business traveler, but the access to downtown was highly inconvenient. The shuttle was nice and the service in the shuttle excellent. The service at the front desk was good and the quality of the... more

the reason why I booked this hotel is because I had to attend a party at the concert hall, which is 5 minutes away by cab, and it was the cheapest 4 stars (120€) Our room was quite small, but it was very clean and had quite a big bathroom if we had to compare it with the room itself.... more

We stayed in this hotel late June 2008. The hotel is in a quiet residential area but if you are organised and book yourself onto the courtesy mercedes bus into Rome it isnt really a problem. We felt the hotel was wonderful....real attention to detail. The breakfast was perfect with anything you could possibly want. A large table full of... more

We were a group of 20+ travelers, part of a university alumni tour of Italy. Rome was our last stop of a 12 day tour, and our stay at the Duke was fabulous. We purposefully chose hotels away from the crowds in each of our stops - believing that it's good to be in the rush during the day when... more
