We were in Rome 3 years ago and stayed at a nice hotel near the Spanish Steps for a week. Very nice. This time, we needed a hotel for 2 nights pre-cruise and 1 night post -cruise. Seeking a more "realistic" Rome experience, and after doing MUCH research, we chose B&B Giovy (JOE-VEE). Based on price, cleanliness, location, etc. we... more

we stayed here for our final two nights after touring round Italy and received the warmest welcome from Joanna when we arrived. The apartment is centrally situated near the Termini station in a beautiful quiet courtyard. The security at Giovy is superb and we had a lovely double room ensuite with fridge. This is is Rome must! more

This is a truly great find in Rome, Giovanna is wonderfully welcoming and friendly. The room was very clean, quiet and pretty large, the breakfast was bountiful and coffee excellent. There is a great little restaurant across the street as well. more

B&B Giovy was our base for a week long Rome visit. Giovanna was so helpful and friendly, the room was big, immaculately clean and breakast great. I would definitely recommend it, especially for the location - 2 mins walk to the Termini and metro stations to reach the whole city. Alot of guides say the Termini area is really dodgy... more

We recently stayed with Giovanna at the Giovy Town House (Bed and Breakfast). The room was lovely and we had a balcony too. The town house is located VERY close to the Termini and a few nice bars and restaurants which were great. Breakfast was plentiful and entertaining. Giovanna is extremely helpful and gave us a map and directions to... more

Great location only 2 blocks away from Rome's Termini station. When i say 2 blocks, it is quite literally in stumbling distance, not some outrageous roundabout treck from the station. When we arrived, we were met by Giovanna and her cousin, who made us feel instantly welcome, taking our bags (v.v.v.heavy after a long stay) and running up the stairs... more

We were so tired after travelling from Positano with our heavy bags and were crossing our fingers that the b&b was at least ok. The moment we met Giovanna our spirits lifted and we felt like we were being welcomed into a family home. She knows everything about Rome, has excellent recommendations for food and what to do. She even... more

You must stay at this B&B! Although it doesn't look like much when you arrive, it's very nice and clean inside. The rooms are big for European standards, private bathroom, breakfast included. The owners are very friendly and courteous and will go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. It's close to Termini, so convenient for... more

Giovy is a comfortable, sparkling clean B&B, what lifts it above its peers is the effervescent Giovanna. Giovanna is welcoming, helpful, very enthusiastic about her B&B and her city. She is a mine of information, and if there is anything she doesn't know, she'll find out for you. No, it is not five star and the bathrooms might be tiny,... more

My wife and I were treated like Giovanna's (at Giovy B&B) most valuable and honored guests. It was our first time in Rome. We were not sure what to expect. We were particularly uncertain because neither of us speaks Italian. Giovanna speaks English rather well. This B&B is a great value. Also, it is located very close to Termini train... more
