When we arrived in our family room we got a little shock till we realised we were only in the childrens area. The main bedroom followed and the whole area was well sized, clean and modern. They put us on the 12th floor and there were great views from the balcony and by the top of the lifts. The room... more

We have just returned from a week at the Isrotel King Solomon in Eilat. It's a decent 4-star hotel, now put in the shade by the likes of its sister hotel, the Royal Beach. The pool are is large, with space to play, swim and even sit in chairs, in the water - an ideal option in 40-degree heat! There... more

This is a very popular hotel which is not that close to the beach front, but it doesn't make a difference because they have a beautiful swimming pool and you can even order Burgeranch by the pool. I felt as if the rooms were a bit small and the bathrooms were a little bit dated and could use some remodeling.... more

This hotel I read about here on trip advisor website. My family had reserved it for us. When we arrived, I waited on a line and my daughter and husband waited next to me . While on the line, a girl came over offering fruit drinks. It didn't take long for them to find my account and I paid on... more

Having been to quite a few hotels in Eilat at different times of the year, a lot depends on how many and who the people staying at the hotel with happen to be. Israeli hotels are usually fully packed on holidays (Jewish/Israeli holidays), and should be avoided then. Weekends can also be just as problematic. As for the hotel itself,... more

We arrived late on 31st Dec to a packed lobby and queues in all directions - for the lifts, the restaurant and reception, with people trying to check in or check out or just ask questions. It was probably one of the busiest nights of the year, but unfortunately we didn't realise and it set the tone for our brief... more

We arrived at this hotel on 23rd Oct for 15 days! Way too long. This hotel is a one week stop if you can take the rudness and the hussling at the restaurant! We were exhausted and endured the 30min check-in. We arrived to our family room. It was so filthy that the hotel agreed to reclean the room, decorate... more

We stayed in this "5 star" hotel in October, for part of the Sukkot festival - Unfortunately the visit was far from 5 star. As you would expect for peak season the hotel was full. However, the hotel is clearly not designed for running at full capacity. Our 5 star treatment started on arrival. As our taxi pulled up bellboys... more

Our latest visit to the KSP, as it is affectionately known, was as enjoyable as past ones. The best features of this hotel are its beautiful poolside terraces, excellent restaurant, spacious rooms, well-trained attentive staff and childrens entertainment centre. We arrived at the hotel at 10.30am, tired after a long overnight journey. Not only were we offered a room immediately... more

This is one of the most popular hotels in Eilat and prides itself on being very child-friendly. It offers a Kid's Kingdom, babysitting at reasonable rates and the family rooms are a good size with a separate bedroom that sleeps two comfortably. The Kid's Kingdom offering is ok but could do with some modernising and we generally found the staff... more
