Hotel: Intercontinental Pyramids Park, Giza Dates: several times in Oct. 2008 Trip Advisor Member from Sacramento, Ca. We stayed at this hotel with a small group twice durting our stay in Cairo. I had not been back at the hotel for a few years and found some nice changes since the last time. The bedrooms were updated (I was in... more

Got to the hotel very late at night due to delayed flight. We were offered food as we had missed dinner which we accepted. We were given a plate of luke warm chicken! (we are veggie but not fussy eaters) and then spoken to rudely when we did not eat it! When we got to our room it was filthy.... more

Positives: Pool was beautiful, and the building looked nice. Staff service was good and friendly. Free breakfast buffet. Lots of restaurants that were okay. Close to the pyramids. They were fabulous - that's what the trip is all about. Fairly inexpensive place. Reasonable cost to hire a driver to take you shopping ~ $30US for a few hours. Just ask... more

I stayed here for two nights as part of a package holiday with First Choice/TUI in the U.K. The reception area looks lovely, nice and bright, plenty shops selling a wide range of souvenirs. The rooms are large, the beds being bigger than a single but smaller than a double, quite low but comfy and just what you need after... more

Was a nice hotel, wouldnt say 5* though. Reception was beautiful, lots of Marble, trees and inside water features. Pool was huge, and a nice temperature and had a nice gym with Sauna/steam room which was only £2.50 to use. Never really saw anyone around the hotel as I imagine everyone is off doing day trips but if everyone decided... more

The mixed reviews astonish me. We stayed at this hotel between 23rd-26th June 2008. This hotel was lovely and met all of our needs perfectly. Our room was spacious, clean and we had a perfect view of the pool area. Breakfast was very plentiful and good and we even tried the dinner buffet which was fine and tasty. My only... more

Stayed with tour group for two nights at this hotel. It was a very long walk (2 blocks) to get to the room which had no elevator for the second floor - had to carry luggage up. In addition two flights of stairs to eat everyday. Better to stay at pool side ground floor. On the positive staff was very... more

Simply put IC need to close this place down and start again; if you have the choice avoid it. If IC choose to close and refurbish they should use the time to train the staff by taking them to Singapore or Thailand so that they can learn about customer service rather than open palm begging for undeserved tips. My stay... more

Stayed at this hotel for three nights as part of a group tour. The room was large enough, with a TV, a table and chairs, and a large closet. I'm giving the hotel four stars although I feel the room could have been kept cleaner. The breakfast and dinner buffets, which were included in the tour, contained a good variety... more

I was with a chruch group, we came to Egypt following a tour of Israel. This was a wonderful way to end our trip. The room was large and clean. The bathroom was also clean and modern. the food was so/so as we had been told to avoid any fresh food but the salads did look good. Breakfast was especially... more
