I stayed in the Saphir Mabisa two times now and both stays were excellent. If you are used to a 5 star hotel I should not go to the saphir mabisa, but for me this is perfect. The staff is very, very friendly and breakfast and lunch is perfect. The hotel looks a bit like it needs a renovation but... more

Friends of mine were going to Bali and talked me into staying at the Saphir Mabisa. It certainly wouldn't have been my first choice of places to stay. However, I decided what the hell and went along with it. The location is quite nice with many shops and restaurants within walking distance. It was also well located for access to... more

This is definitely a place to stay for one night only. We booked this through a Qantas brochure knowing we only needed an overnight stop in the Kuta area before moving onto to (greener ) pastures in Ubud. As seasoned, non-5-star travellers, we don't expect luxury, but this hotel has definitely seen better days. You get the feeling that a lot... more

The hotel was part of a free package holiday a friend won, so thank goodness I wasn’t paying money for it. Aside from the very helpful staff, there is nothing nice about this hotel. I’ve never seen the enamel coming off sink, toilet bowl or a tub before! The ceiling of the bathroom was mouldy, towel was stained and thread... more

This hotel is old, but it is certaintly clean, excellent service, price is fair. This hotel has a perfect location. Needs to touch up the building paints. Garden looks well maintain. Met the Indonesian Young General Manager. A very pleasant persons I ever met. Globally I could say " 80 of 100 " more

Just came back from Bali, had a 2 night stay at Saphir Mabisa Hotel and not very happy about it. 1st night (room 320) with a malfunction aircond (not cold at all)...2nd night (room 322) without water in the bathroom (both washing basin and bath tub)...not to mentioned that the bed is too soft causing back ache after one night... more

I certainly did not expect great accomodation when I went to Saphir Mabisa Inn, given the low price. However, I was nevertheless in for a shock. Firstly, I had to change rooms due to flooding (!). Also, the bathroom was a mess. Basically, maintenance in the rooms is very poor. Breakfast is also terrible. The only redeeming feature is the... more
