The bathroom is the size of a match box, the sink doesn´t have a hot water tap, the shower is separated from the toilet and sink by just the shower curtain, the toilet doesn´t flush (although they did fix this) and the whole room smells badly of damp. We absolutely loved the Perak Hotel! We stayed there for one night in August 2008. The rooms are on the small side but look lovely (hard woorden floors, great eye for detail, huge television) and the location is great. It's hard to find budget accomodation in Singapore and Perak was reasonably priced compared to other hotels. Just inside Little India near a few backpackers places.
