stayed in a cheaper dbl room, which was clean and had a terrace surrounded by a concrete. shower worked without problems, tv had chinese fighting movies with english subtitles. front desk staff (there was plenty of it) was responsive and friendly. the internet computers in the lobby are very slow. in the immediate vicinity are a good hawker centre and... more

Hotel prices in SIngapore have gone through the roof, the Victoria, no exception, but the rates are half the price of other nearby hotels. The hotel was recently renovated. This little hotel used to be in the pits, but now it has been thoroughly renovated and refurbished. Rooms are very small but very modern, bright & comfortable, and equiped with the standard hotel features -- TV, fridge, tea/coffee making facility. I’ve stayed there for 2 nights because all hotels in Singapore were overbooked. It was my worse experience in Singapore. The room is small, not clean. The service is bad. more
