we stayed two nights at this hotel. we got a pretty basic room but it had a terrible bad bed the hotel is located 20 mins in a walking distance from the main square which made my walkings too long to get back always from the main atractions cusco it self is a beautiful city with amazing ruins close to... more

This is a great hotel in a nice neighborhood in Cusco. Great location and fantastic helpful staff. I would definitely recommend to others and would definitely stay there again. I would definitely NOT recommend booking it through Orbitz. Book it directly through the hotel or through Expedia or Travelocity or some other site. Orbitz charged me the 19% Peru sales... more

Clean, confortable, well decorated rooms with lots of wood - almost chalet like. Central heating is a major plus. Bath is a treat in a country where this is rare and hot water even rarer. Be aware however: we returned to Cusco at 8pm very tired from a 5 day trek looking forward to a soak only to be told... more

We stayed at Los Apus for three nights before the Inca Trail and one night afteward, before heading back to Lima. This place was absolutely perfect. It's adorable and clean - lots of character, natural light, interesting decor, etc. The staff were outstanding. Pleasant and helpful at all hours of the day/night, spoke great English, etc. The coca tea/restaurant setup... more

Peru for Less booked this hotel for us and we were absolutely delgihted. We stayed in Room 203 with a balcony over the street. The architecture was interesting, we had an alcove above our bed with a red tile roof and open beam cielings wrapped in animal hides. It was very romantic. The service was excellent, everone spoke English well.... more

Jan 2008 - The first night we arrived we told reception that we would be out for a couple of hours and our room had no safe to put our expensive electonics in. We were told the hotel was secure, and not to worry so we left for the evening. The following morning we realised our room had been robbed,... more

On January 17th, 2008, you did check in at the hotel around 2.40pm with your Peruvian female company. At 4pm you did leave the hotel, asking if we had a safe for your values, which we do. You have been informed so and, despite it, you strangely decided NOT to leave your electronics in it, and you did just leave...

My wife and I, who were both 30, and my parents who were in their mid-50's, stayed at Los Apus through the travel agency Culturas Peru, which I believe owns the hotel. Although it was a little difficult to sleep because of the noise, the rooms were very nice and clean compared to the other places we stayed in Peru.... more

I stayed here on recomendation from a co-worker and have since recomended the place. A great value for the price. The location is superb close enough to the main square but without the noise. I stayed in outward facing room, that had a great view of the colonial steet. more

Our other hotel in Cusco put us up here when they were not able to provide our reserved room upon our return from Machu Picchu. For the price we paid, this is a very nice hotel. The staff are very friendly and professional. Although we arrived late and got probably the two worst rooms in the house, they were still... more

We arrived in Cusco and were expecting an airport transfer from the hotel instead we were picked up by a woman from an independent travel agency who brought us in a local taxi. We didn't mind as we achieved the same result but en route she asked us our travel plans and began to try and sell us tour options.... more
