The Doral Golf Resort and Spa is a wonderful hotel. Although the hotel is getting older, the lobby area was recently updated and it is a great place to hang out. We stayed at Doral at the end of June 2008 to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday--he is an avid golfer and the golf packages for this time of year were cheap $189/night including one round of golf per room and breakfast. My wife and I and two friends stayed at the Doral Spa and Golf Resort in late June. We all really enjoyed this resort. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were very nice. Stayed on business. Staff was very helpful and pleasant - particularly front desk, valet, and food service. Excellent event execution. Lovely property.
