Being a traveler, I've stayed in many youth hostels before.. With no doubt, I rate USA Hostel, Las Vegas number one.. The staff are great and entertaining. The rooms are big, clean with bathrooms, which I never saw in other youth hostels. The pool is lovely, almost everyone like to hang by the pool after a long night! I didn't... more

I stayed at this hostel and can honestly say it was the worst hostel I have ever stayed in.... and I have stayed in many hostels around europe and the USA. It is a really dodgy part of town which consists of many pimps and prostitutes, drug dealers and drug addicts (they use the word vintage to describe the location,... more

We stayed at three of the USA hostels, san francisco, hollywood and this one. While we loved the others there were a number of problems with the USA Hostel Las Vegas. The most important problem is the location. It is prohibitively far from the strip and everyone who dropped us off or picked us up from there told us in... more

Really, this is an average youth hostel - emphasis on "youth." Nothing to shout about, but it's not terrible either. I stayed here a year ago with my (same gender) partner, and we were treated very nicely by the staff. We had a private room with a private bathroom. My partner is a picky sleeper, and he found the bed... more

This hostel was reasonably clean (2 couples staying in a room with 2 queen beds and an ensuite). Bathroom was clean. We stayed 2 nights, and there was no hot water on the second night :( Sheets were clean. Beds were reasonably comfortable. Take your own pillow if you can. having TV was good. All you can eat pancakes was... more

Whatever you do dont stay at this hostel!! You can get the same if not better deal at a place on the strip. They make it seem that this hostel is close to the strip but its not!! Its a 30 min walk to the bus then a very slow hour ride in traffice to any of the good places... more

I have now been travelling for over 8 months & this is without doubt the worst hostel I have ever stayed in. And why you may ask? Well, my dorm room was disgustingly dirty. From when I arrived until I departed they never vacummed the floors & there was rubbish & dust strewn throughout the room. I had bed bugs... more

Having travelled round the world for 6 months i can honestly say this was the best hostel i stayed in. ok so maybe the location is questionable but the atmosphere was awesome. Being a lone traveller i soon settled in and the staff were all so friendly and could;t do enough to help. The organised activities in the evening were... more

Unlike the USA Hostels Hollywood, I wouldn't recommend this hostel to anyone. Very dodgy area - I wouldn't recommend walking in surrounding areas at night or on your own in the day. As for the positives, it has a pool area (don't swallow the water as I did!), air conditioning, games room, kitchen area, private bathrooms, laundry facilities, internet access... more
