We stayed at the Hyatt Maui from 9/22-9/28 for our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. We both thought the hotel was very nice, however, once we traveled to the Grand Hyatt in Kauai we realized the Hyatt Maui is a good hotel, but not as great as the Hyatt in Kauai. The rooms were very nice and spacious. Though... more

The Hyatt is a huge hotel , the grounds are beautiful and the hotel has a very nice art collection. The rooms are clean and spacious. This is a typical Hawaiian luxury chain hotel, The food is Ok but the restaurants are crowded. The pool is jammed with teenagers , it is not very relaxing to sit at the pool... more

We just returned from a week at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort. It was our second stay in 2 years and was even better than the first time. The service was superb, room clean, staff friendly and helpful, grounds beautiful, and food excellent. We stayed in a partial ocean view room (we were upgraded by the hotel upon arrival) in... more

We got a great deal for 7 days at the Hyatt - we've been to Maui twice before, this was by far our best stay. I read a review about the interior needing an update and looking 70's...what?! I host a travel show and have stayed in the best hotels all over the world...the Hyatt measures up 100%. The rooms... more

The Hyatt Maui was generally pleasant – the hotel was clean and the staff were courteous. However, we were underwhelmed on arrival, after assuming it would be a luxurious honeymoon destination. It wasn’t – it was average. The hotel needs a bit of a revamp; it looks seriously 70s with the avocado paint everywhere! Our room was supposed to be... more

Came here on our Honeymoon, and had a great time. Rooms were up to date and clean, the staff were very nice and helpful, and the grounds are spectacular. Great location and they were very organized with brunch and towels and all the little things. I would definitely recommend this hotel (and I'm a travel agent so my expectations are... more

Our family of 4 stayed here for 6 days 5 nights. It has been over 10 years since we have stayed here for our honeymoon. We thought the entrance/lobby seemed older but was still very beautiful. Breakfast was wonderful, exactly as I remembered. There was a line, but we got seated very quickly. The view was beautiful, and the buffet... more

After reading several negative reviews on Trip Advisor, I was a little worried about my decision to stay at the Hyatt. No Worries - we really liked everything about the Hyatt! We had booked the least expensive room type - and the room we were given was just great. It overlooked the garden area and the pool, and we could... more

We recently visited Maui for our honeymoon. When we arrived at the Hyatt we were amazed at how beautiful it was. We had a partial ocean view room and had a great view. With the balcony open we could hear the ocean in our room. It was on the beach - just past the pool was the ocean. The staff... more

We stayed at the Hyatt 9/8-9/14. The weather was about 86 degrees, sunny and breezy. We initially had reserved a partial-ocean view room but upgraded to a full ocean view once we found out it was only a 25% ocean view. What we ended up with was right in the center of the main building with an unobstructed view of... more
