This is a hassle-free place to stay with a dog. I travel with my small poodle and usually, even though hotels will say that they welcome pets, the front desk people give you a certain look when you walk in and out of the lobby with your dog.......NOT HERE!!! I've never stayed at a more dog-friendly place. I saw a... more

I stayed at this Tuscan Inn in the Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco recently. What a lovely place in the midst of a fast-paced environment! The thought that it was a Best Western made me think ahead of my stay that this is an okay place to rest a night but what a surprise when I found the cutest place... more

I booked this hotel via booking.com at KLM website. I went through a lot of reviews and the one from Frommers Guide was most helpful. I got a good rate and no prepayment from the KLM website( linked to booking.com). Tuscon Inn was near the pier 39, which is a great location, checking in and out was easy. The staff... more

We had a quick trip to SF and decided to stay here so we could easily walk to the wharf, pier 39 and Ghirardeli chocolate square. We choose this place primarily based on other user reviews on TripAdvisor. The room is nice, very cozy (i.e. fairly small) but well put together and comfortable. We took everyone's advice and requested an... more

We stayed for 4 nights mid October, in a suite to cater for 2 couples. The first room we had was kinda worn, no view, and you could hear noisy a/c units, and the beds felt worn, as you could feel the springs if you pressed firmly!! Not good! Unfortunately, I had come down with a rather nasty throat infection... more

Booked two rooms on Priceline for $139 each, just an overnight stay while flying home the next morning. Check in was good, rooms both ready, and we upgraded with no problems. Room was very small for 4, we apparently had an "outside" room, because trucks crashed around all night loading and unloading. Tried to tip the maids for 2 extra... more

We stayed at this lovely, incredibly well located hotel for 6 nights as we explored the hills of San Francisco. The staff was wonderful, our room was very pretty with a view of the Fisherman's Wharf area. The bathroom was marble and we had luxurious bathrobes and really, every detail attended to. When we first arrived at 2am, there had... more

We stayed two nights in August following a flight from UK. We had a room on the ground floor that was very well decorated but a bit gloomy. As we had come to sleep that actually helped. It was large with enough space for our cases. Disappointed with coffee making faclities. Breakfast at the hotel was fine, and we had... more
