We just spent one night here, pre-cruise. I wish it could have been more. The hotel was lovely, the people friendly, the location perfect, and our room was funky, cool and comfortable! We had a corner room on a lower level. I was afraid we might be bothered by street noise but, honestly, we didn't hear any noise from the... more

However good a hotel looks, and the Alexis has a magnificent decor, when I stayed there, I couldn't help but notice that some of the basics have been overlooked. Firstly the shower was pitiful - on full power, I barely got wet, such was the weakness of the pressure, and the temperature was never more than lukewarm. Secondly, there was... more

Can't say enough about the Alexis. We were lucky enough to stay in a corner room, which was massive. Service was outstanding and the location was perfect for all of the main sights (market, Pioneer Square, etc). Highly recommended. more

We had a nice one night stay at the Alexis. Great location and staff was very helpful. The room was quite small, however. more

I have traveled far and wide. I have stayed in dozens of hotels. This was the best one for the money!!! A combination of: 1. Best location; 2. Great services; and 3. Tasteful décor makes it one of the best hotels in the US. If you are in Seattle, don't hesitate to stay there. I highly recommend it to anyone. more

We stayed in one of the new suites -- Asian Art, I believe-- and it was one of the most gorgeous and luxurious suites I've been in for awhile. This is not the Alexis, I remember. The remodel was more than just a paint job. Stunning new common areas and gorgeous new rooms! I'm don't know what happened to the... more

What a wonderful hotel! The staff was exceptional.....we happened to arrive a few hours before check in but within 20 minutes our room was ready for us. I had booked a King Suite through WhatAHotel.com and not only was it the cheapest through them but they promise an upgrade at arrival. Wow! is all I can say...we were in a... more

Having had an initial contretemp with them about being put in a standard room, rather than the deluxe room we had booked, our two stays with them were great. Hayden sorted out the room issue as soon as she could and was true to her word. 1st Ave rooms can be a little noisy with boy racers with their exra... more

Overall a very nice hotel. Rooms were very clean and hotel was quiet despite being right downtown. Very convenient location due to close proximity to popular markets and shopping areas. The best part was the Library Bistro which is the adjoining hotel restaurant. Our group ate breakfast there every day and we all agreed the food was outstanding. more
