Absolute treat. Wonderful friendly place with great (sort of comfort) food. My cauliflower and walnut soup was super and my partridge excellent (but I should have had the calve's liver). Yummy puds. Oh dear, my companion Clem and I were the last to leave (this does happen to us) more

Brilliant food, excellent service, friendly staff, excellent bar for drinking at and eating... fabulous! the wine list is exceptional... though booking can be a mare... but worth the try... they will remember you and make your time there special... love it... more
