We had a fabulous time at this hotel. Yes, it is pricey but you pay for what you get! Service was fantastic, everything I needed was quickly provided. I stayed with my 8 year old for 5 nights - as a single mom travelling with my child, I felt very safe and pampered.

We booked with whatahotel - an online hotel booking site which advertises special savings with their "virtuoso partners". This ended up providing us an unbelievable experience -- we were upgraded from a superior room to a HUGE suite!! 2500 euros a night was the posted rack rate in the room. It was amazing! We both burst into giggles when we walked in and saw how huge and elegent the room was! Seperate living room, 1/2 bath, bedroom with walk in closet and huge full bath! I know we can't be gaurenteed upgrades with that quality all the time -- but hey if it only happens once and this is it -- it was so worth it!! We also received free breakfast each morning and a $50 food credit.

My daughter liked the kids perks -- her own robe, slippers, disney channel in english, kids room service options, indoor pool, hot-tub - not gigantic but for the city it was good. The other nice thing is coming in from the states early a.m., our room wasn't ready but we were able to go to the spa/pool area where they provided us robes and swimsuits (throw away kind of fabric).

Paris is (of course) a beautiful city -- this hotel is in an upscale area walking distance to the effel tower and metro (which is super easy to use and better during high traffic times). I enjoyed my experience and this was the best place to stay with my daughter alone. On my next visit I might try another hotel in one of the quaint areas like St. Germain.

I've stayed in a lot of hotels all over the world and spent a fair amount of time in luxury hotels in Los Angeles but the experience of Le George V in Paris is absolutely unparalleled.

The rooms are very clean and all linens, draperies etc, extremely sumptuous.
Even the hardware for the doors is of a visibly superior quality.

The staff is courteous and professional. i was greeted by every member of staff I ever encountered and each greeting felt sincere.
Customer service is the highest priority and the knowledgeable staff
is truly eager to help the guest get what he or she wants from every experience the property offers.

I took a spa package when I booked and would recommend it if you are planning a stay there. The spa itself was so relaxing and well maintained (constant towel/robe replacement. Refreshments well stocked etc) it was like stepping off the planet for the few hours I spent there.

The price is high, but the level of quality to every aspect is so top notch that I felt every penny I spent was earned by the hotel and staff.

Honestly, no other hotel I've stayed at comes close to matching The Four seasons George V, Paris.

Stayed at the Four Seasons in a deluxe room, very spacious and comfortable everything you could ask for.Also the spa was very good too.Had a meal at Le Cinq very expensive but beautiful.
The location of the hotel was excellent too. Would certainly go back.

We stayed here in a king deluxe room for 3 nights at the end of June (though I wrote a comment to the hotel saying July by accident!). From the MOMENT we stepped into the most beautiful lobby I've ever seen- candles and delphiniums and hydrangeas all in deep purple- until the moment we checked out (waiting for Bruce Springsteen to get out of our way!), it was just a magnificent experience. The room is SPOTLESS- no mold like at the Ritz bathroom in London- great amenities, lots of shelves, a safe, comfy pillows and a big tub. The staff was always smiling, always helpful, and ALWAYS available. The concierge would do anything to help us. Even the doormen are friendly. Housekeeping staff was VERY quiet- you could sleep as late as you want- no kids running in the halls, and no adults talking loudly to wake you up. So different than the Bellagio in Vegas or other 5 star rated hotels. We were SO sad to leave. They made a little dessert for us and gave us a bottle of champagne for our anniversary- and it was incredible! I have to say this is the finest hotel I have ever stayed in. I fear that recommending it so highly will mean I won't get a reservation next time I want to go!
