I have to say we weren't expecting much from the apartment as it was only a 2 star so we were very pleasantly surprised. It was definitely more like a 3/4 star. There was a lounge/diner, separate kitchen, decent bathroom and 2 bedrooms. The balcony was excellent and we had an amazing view of the Sagrada Familia.

There was someone in the lobby the whole time and daily maid service. It was like staying in a hotel with extra rooms.

The location was also very good. A little out of the centre but the metro was nearby and we caught the tourist bus from the Sagrada. The distance to the old/new town was also walkable. There were also plenty of restaurants nearby and a supermarket on the corner.

An excellent place to go out in the town was Placa Reial Square where there were several restaurants clubs and bars.

Although Barcelona is renowned for pickpockets we didn't see or hear any trouble.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable time although trying to fit in the nightlife and sightseeing was a little tiring!

Our apartment was very comfortable and as it was at the back it was very quiet even though it was Easter week. The kitchen was well equipped and we made good use of it. There was a large supermarket on the nearby corner with fresh food including croissants and pastries. People at Reception were very helpful. Nearest metro only a short walk away and it was great to be so near to the Sagrada Familia.

We stayed here for three nights with our eighteenth month old son after reading the reviews about the apartments on here and were overall pretty pleased. The apartment is basic but has all the nescesary eqipment that you might need for a short stay (except for a kettle !). and is in a good location although is quite a walk from the las Rambla but near to both the subway and the hop on hop off tour bus. The only downside was that the water in the shower wasn't very hot later on in the morning so not ideal for any late risers but overall these apartments fulfilled our requirements very well.

Booked the apartment through Midashotels, we were looking for an apartment with two bedrooms for four adults. These apartments were very reasonable and in a great location round the corner from La Sagrada Família - the famous "Church of the Holy Family".

Apartments have a reception area so if you have any problems at all you can see the person on the reception desk.

The apartments were great all the things you need, great size living area, nice size bathroom and kitchen with fridge, cooker, washing machine etc.

The apartments were spotless.

There is a supermarket within a couple of minutes walk from the apartments which stocked all the basics required and was open late.

Some taxi drivers were not familiar with the apartments so we just asked them to take us by Sagrada Familia which is round the corner.

The tourbus stop is also round the corner from the apartments where you can purchase a two day ticket . You can hop on and off the tourbus seeing all the main attractions Barcelona has to offer.

There is also a great Italian Pizza restaurant within a couple of minutes walk from the apartments La Piazzenza on Avinguda de Gaudí 27-29 a very poplular restaurant, great service and sell big jugs of tasty sangria.
