“Great Place”

BelleSuite Rome

We were looking for a hotel i central Rome and found the BelleSuite Rome on Tripadvisor and decided to book it based on the reviews on the site.

We were not disappointed. We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and we really liked it. The hotel is nice and quiet and consists of two wings on two floors in the building. The staff was friendly and attentive and the hotel has quite a good breakfast as well.

The rooms seems to have been refurbished quite recently and are clean and very nice. Our room had a very high ceiling which gave the room a nice airy feel. The bathroom was quite small, but nice and clean. One thing to note though, is that the beds are quite hard.

The hotel can be a bit hard to find, since there is only a small sign on the side of the door, we actually passed it once without noticing it when we were looking for the correct street number.

“Well-located quaint little hotel”

Excellent location near Piazza della Repubblica, but not in conspicuous location. Within walking distance to all the major sites (except maybe the Vatican). Breakfast was quite good. Sky satellite television. Comfortable bed. Bathroom was nice, but three-tier floor caused some late-night stumbling. Staff was excellent--very nice and English speaking. Staff recommended a wonderful wine shop nearby--be sure to ask! Free internet access--not just wiFi, but a computer & printer! Quiet. Great restaurant (Target) right on the corner. Price was very reasonable, especially for Rome. Negatives? On third floor, but a small elevator is available.

Great little hotel with a 5 minute walk from the Termini station. We loved the staff who spoke English very well and gave us good information about the area. The breakfast that was included, was the perfect start to our day and the hotel was close to many other restaurants for lunch and dinner.

BelleSuite was a little difficult to see from the street, but once you we're buzzed in and on your way up the old lift, the hotel was very clean and secure.

We'll visit again.

“Perfect for a weekend break in Rome”

BelleSuite Rome

Feb 12, 2008

We have just returned from a weekend stay at the Bellesuite. I can definitely recommend it...although we were initially concerned from the outside. We had to walk up and down the street in the dark a couple of times before we figured out where it was as there is no sign outside to show it is a hotel - just the name next to one of the doorbells of an appartment block - the BelleSuite is on the 2nd/3rd floor of the building. However once we eventually found out where we needed to be and got checked in, the hotel itself was excellent. The bedroom was very clean and tastefully decorated. The staff were friendly and helpful (although they could only speak basic English) and the hotel is literally round the corner from the nearest underground station. Breakfast was nicely presented. We would definitely consider staying at the BelleSuite again if we return to Rome in the future...especially now we know how to find it!!!

“A good stay at the BelleSuite”

BelleSuite Rome

4 of 5 stars
London, England
Feb 12, 2008

Just back from a two night stay at the BelleSuite - really enjoyed it.

On the whole, the report is very positive - it is central (a few minutes from the tube and about 5 mins from Termini), it is quiet, and we couldn't fault the room - comfortable, clean and safe. The only downside was that we had to ring the bell every evening to get back in through the main front door, which felt a little awkward (being English...) when we came back late. That aside, can't fault the place. Loved the lift!

Rome on the whole provides a perfect weekend break - particularly when you combine it with a rugby match!
