“Wonderful B&B”

B&B Giovy was our base for a week long Rome visit. Giovanna was so helpful and friendly, the room was big, immaculately clean and breakast great. I would definitely recommend it, especially for the location - 2 mins walk to the Termini and metro stations to reach the whole city. Alot of guides say the Termini area is really dodgy - its not posh but its fine, perfectly safe at night and quite an eclectic mix of African restaurants, internet cafes and food places & bars. When we left I felt as if I was leaving an old friend's house! If I go back to Rome I would absolutely return to Giovanna's B&B. Nothing was too much trouble for her.

“Loved Staying at Giovy”

We recently stayed with Giovanna at the Giovy Town House (Bed and Breakfast). The room was lovely and we had a balcony too. The town house is located VERY close to the Termini and a few nice bars and restaurants which were great. Breakfast was plentiful and entertaining. Giovanna is extremely helpful and gave us a map and directions to where ever we wanted to go. I would definately stay here again. We booked this on the strength of the other reviews on this site and they were right. The present we received on leaving was a lovely touch. Thanks Giovanna x

Great location only 2 blocks away from Rome's Termini station. When i say 2 blocks, it is quite literally in stumbling distance, not some outrageous roundabout treck from the station.
When we arrived, we were met by Giovanna and her cousin, who made us feel instantly welcome, taking our bags (v.v.v.heavy after a long stay) and running up the stairs with them to the reception despite our protests. The B+B upstairs(belonging to family also) had a booked a family between two floors, so we were asked if we minded moving to accomodate the family on the same floor. We had no problems with this, as we were simply using the room as a place to leave our luggage and go explore. It was not an overly large problem whatsoever to move, but we felt as if we had done her a great service! Giovanna brought fresh juice and water to our room whilst we settled and gave us friendly tips and advice.
At breakfast, a wide variety of hot and cold drinks and pastries were on offer, and no request was too much. During breakfast, our bags were moved to the new room within B+B Giovy from upstairs. The new room was roughly twice the size of normal room, and was given to us for "putting up with her requests" and being so nice. As we left the hotel, she gave us juice, water and pastries to take with us on our trip into the city.
The next morning ran the same, and as we were leaving later in the afternoon, several hours after the official checkout time, we were concerned as to where to leave our bags, but we were told that we could leave them in the kitchen/dining room secure, and use any facilites to shower/wash and change that we wanted.
As we left, Giovanna gave my Girlfriend a small crystal colluseum to remind us of her and for being such "lovely smiley guests".
I would recommend this to any couple or family stopping through Rome for a few days ,as it was inexpensive, close to transport and restaurants and the Landlady, although unique in her style and way of going about things, was a real character who couldn't do enough to please you.

“Best B&B we've ever stayed at”

We were so tired after travelling from Positano with our heavy bags and were crossing our fingers that the b&b was at least ok. The moment we met Giovanna our spirits lifted and we felt like we were being welcomed into a family home. She knows everything about Rome, has excellent recommendations for food and what to do. She even asked a family member to fix my partner's ripped pants!

The location is great, next to Termini station but not a dodgy area. It's good when you're changing cities alot.

The breakfast is great (not sure what people on this site are complaining about). The room is big and always clean and she even gives you a drink on arrival. We were sad to leave her and if we return to Rome we will undoubtedly stay here.

If you've been looking at alot of places don't continue just book with her!!!

You must stay at this B&B! Although it doesn't look like much when you arrive, it's very nice and clean inside. The rooms are big for European standards, private bathroom, breakfast included. The owners are very friendly and courteous and will go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. It's close to Termini, so convenient for travelers going to the airport. Highly recommend this B&B!
