We have just returned from a lovely holiday in Venice. I read all the reports on this hotel and was not disappointed. The hotel is in a fantastic location ( a few minutes walk from St Marks Square but that was far enough to be quiet and peaceful ) , it's website gives great directions so it is easy to find on arrival.

The room we stayed in was a standard room so it was not massive but it was just what we needed, comfortable and clean, nice bathroom with a lovely hot shower. They offer larger rooms and suites if desired. Breakfast was lovely , exactly as described by the previous traveller ) Sitting on the terrace on a warm morning was an added bonus as is the courtyard downstairs.

Staff very pleasant and helpful although the night receptionist was not as helpful as the others, best to ask for help during the day we discovered.

We found a lovely restaurant nearby which was cheaper than others we saw and was really nice , out of the hotel front door and go left down the alley and left again at the end past the launderette - Trattoria Agli Artisti da Piero.

We loved Venice and will definitely return to Venice and to this hotel.

Casa Verardo was the perfect hotel for our recent visit to Venice. We arrived at San Zaccaria vaporreto stop and easily found this gem on a little canal that was about a 7 minute walk from St. Mark's Square. The front desk spoke just enough english to be helpful, kind and patient. They booked tours for us, helped us find money machines, and allowed us to store our luggage on check-out day long after check-out time. The rooms were clean. The showers had wonderful water pressure and the heated towel rack made towels warm and cozy. They do have internet access but you have to pay for it. The only recommendation I would make is to make the internet a free amenity. Casa Verardo was a nice home away from home while traveling.

Hotel Casa Verardo is a great hotel! The staff was very friendly and courteous. This hotel is very easy to find and in a super location. We had a nice size triple room and a spacious bathroom (a big plus!). The beds were comfortable. I received an on time wake up call every morning. The hotel also has internet service for a very small fee. A light breakfast was included with our room. Overall, we were very happy with our stay at Hotel Casa Verardo.

We've just came back from our Easter-Weekend in Venice. We've stayed at the Hotel Casa Verardo, which is a real secret place. Neat, tidy, cozy hotel which outreaches its 3* rating! The location is unbeatable: 3min from piazza st marco. Rather small rooms, which is normal for Venice, but absolutely comfortable bed/mattress. Of course not to forget the open-hearted and helpfull hotel-staff, specially mentioned Mr. Pier who gave us some worthwile restaurant advices!
