We just returned from Italy, part of which was a 4 day stay at Al Ponte Mocenigo. What a fabulous find. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful, our room was lovely, breakfast in the courtyard was a pleasure, and the location was perfect; quiet and away from the heavy tourist areas, yet accessible to everything Venice has to offer. Will definitely return!

This little hotel is totally recommended for anyone who loves Italy and wants to have a great Mediterranean experience. Make sure to book in advance. The price is quite reasonable and the service is excellent.
I will definitely be coming back next year!

My fiancee and I had a fantastic stay here in mid August. When we arrived we told that there was a problem with our booking, so we would be upgraded to a better room for the first two nights of our three night stay at no extra charge. We had no complaints about that. Then instead of moving us to the original basic double we booked on the third night, they moved us to an even better room than the first two! I can't recall Hilton ever upgrading me during a stay once a better room became available, and I'm Diamond VIP with them.

The location is perfect. It's a nine minute ride from the bus depot or train station using the vaporetto system, which runs 24 hours a day so purchase a ticket good for as long as you will be in Venice. The area around the hotel is quiet and felt safe, even after dark when the lonely alleys of Venice can get a little creepy.

The only thing I would change would be to make the beds a bit softer.

Look no further and remember to take the advice about booking early.

My wife and I stayed 3 nights in mid-July. Our room was in the annexe but really I was surprised that the management even mention the 'annexe' because it could easily be seen as just part of the hotel. H

Excellent location, easy to find and a bonus being only 3 stops from the train station when both arriving and leaving. Spotlessly clean. Have no concerns if your room is in the annexe, it is really no different from the rest of the hotel. This hotel just added to our excellent visit to the wonderful city of Venice.

We would stay again if/when we return to Venice and obviously we would highly recommend this hotel without hesitation.
