What a delightful B&B in Venice for a very good price. We stayed 3 nights in March, 2007, and out of all the accommodations in our 4-city trip (London, Paris, Venice & Florence) this was by far the best. The staff was incredible. Our room was a double (twin) on the top floor, and even though we are a senior couple, we had no problem accessing it with our luggage. Breakfast was more than adequate in a darling little room. For those of you who might feel it is a little out of the way, it was certainly walkable to St.Mark's Square and all other areas of Venice. It is particularly convenient for the Piazza Roma and the train station, plus it was very close to P.Roma vaparetto stops. We loved our stay in this B&B and would certainly stay there again if and when we return to Venice.

I've stayed at Locanda Marinella whith my husband this month , and liked very much. The best hotel we stayed in our honey moon.
The staff is very frendly and helpful.The room and bathroom were clean and spacious
Breakfast is simple, but it is good!
It is in a very quiet and peaceful area,close to Piazzale Roma.
We recommend!!

We were in Italy for two weeks in September 07. This was by far the best placed we stayed. The location, at first, was difficult to find but in the end was very convienent. The staff really made this hotel a special place, they were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean, we would definately stay here again.

I've stayed at Locanda Marinella whith my wife this month and liked very much. The outside looks modest, but it is newly painted. Inside it is very clean and cousy. The room is large size compared to european standarts. Regarding the staff, they were all very friendly, and willing to help. About the location, it is not that close to San Marco Square (it is a 15/20 minuts walk). It's very close to Piazale Roma, what is very convenient, from there you can take the waterboat and a bus to the airport. It is a 5-10 minuts walk to the train station, what is also convenient. Nearby, you can find a lot of restaurants and caffes in "Campo Margarita". Breakfast was avarege. I would surely stay there again.
