Although the landmark red lip sofa 's missing from the front, we managed to find it after getting off the street cars.
It was stacked in the back, as it turned out.
As promised it was very recently renovated; it was refreshing to step inside the property.
Staff were very friendly and showed us to our room in no time. Although there was a bit of struggle carrying the heavy bags up flights of stairs.
We booked the large room with canal view. It was not the one on top floor, but still had a good view of the canal and streets.
The room was clean and tidy. We didn't bother turning on the sensational colorful lights; just sat down and watched Tv. Though small, the room was well equiped.
For our package, breakfast was included. There was bread, cereal, ham, cheese, boiled eggs, fruit. All were fresh and excellent.
Online access was limited during our stay, because the main computers broke down, we had to use one at the cafe with a cable connecting to the front reception. There was only one computer available for all the customers of the hotel; I had to resort to uploading the photos to facebook at night as it took a few minutes. Other than that, I had no complaints. Hopefully it will be fixed by the time you read this.
