Came back last Monday from a two week stay at the Hotel Tagoo on Mykonos. It was our honeymoon and we were looking for somewhere close enough (we're from England) for travelling not to be too tiring. Tagoo was brilliant for the chill out we needed. Spent a lot of time by the pool, enjoying the absolutely amazing view from the hotel (it's definitely one of the best on the island), watching the yachts and cruise ships and having pizzas made for us by Jimmy and Tony. The staff at the hotel were great. The reviews are true! Anna runs things in a really friendly way, she's full of ideas, big smiles, lots of laughs, introducing you to other people there. It's not "happy campers" though, there's no pressure to join in - you can opt in or out of the social life of the hotel, but it's small enough to actually get to know and have fun with other people if you want to. So relaxed he's horizontal Yannis kept on bumping into us on the way from town to the hotel (oh, and it's really not that far) and giving us lifts. Lia (if that's how you spell it) is great for a post-beakfast chat and extra tips on beaches. As for the rest of the island, it's party and fun, it's barren and a bit dusty, but it's chic too. It's not like Saturday night out in your average English town - no fights or throwing up! We loved the night life in town, brilliant food, amazing atmosphere. Nothing quite like eating fresh sea food with the waves lapping right by you. It was great, we heartily recommend it!
