“Fantastic, breakfast superb”

Wel what can you say, from the moment you walked through the door it was fantastic. Everything has been thought through and the attention to detail brilliant. Helen and Brian have created an oasis away from home. Has to be the cleanest and freshest place we have ever stayed in don't know how long it must take to do each room ours was spotless. When we arrived Brian gave a quick guide to Dingle and what to do in and around the area also recommended several resturants and made us feel very welcome.

It was definitely a great place to stay very quite overlooking the bay, a short walk into town so close enough yet far enough away. As for the breakfast unbelivable everything fresh and cooked to order.

The rooms was large roomy, jacuzzi bath just what was needed after a long drive and the bed was so good didn't want to leave it.

Would recommend to anyone who is visiting DIngle an absolute fantastic place to stay. Many thanks for a great stay will be back.

Castlewood House

We have just returned from two nights at Castlewood house, the accommodation and hospitality was superb, the breakfast was the very best we have ever had. All the food was freshly cooked and nothing was too much trouble. Helen and Brian made sure we were happy and comfortable. They should be very proud of Castlewood House, through their hard work and attention to detail it is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in!

“Perfect Stay in Dingle”

Castlewood House

The best bed & breakfast we have ever stayed in anywhere. Brian and Helen could not be nicer or more helpful people. The house is clean and beautiful inside. The room was large and comfortable overlooking Dingle bay. Breakfast was simply spectacular.

“Fantastic!”

Castlewood House

We stayed here for part of our honeymoon and wished we had stayed here for all of it! Brian and Helen were really friendly, the room was amazing and clean, the whole place was homely and breakfast was lovely with lots of variety. The woman who booked us in was also really helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Really really recommend this place, we look forward to going back.

“Lap of Luxury”

Castlewood House

May 28, 2008

Castlewood House is a purpose-built B&B meaning that it was specifically designed as a B&B not someone's house that gets converted. So in a sense it has more of a boutique-hotel feel as oppossed to a B&B but with an added personal touch. Helen was so sweet and greeted us with maps and hints on touring the peninsula (which was the highlight of our trip). She also had a book with restaurant menus and told us which pubs to hit for music. The bed was so comfy, and the bathroom ultra-modern. Everything in the place is spotless and the view of the harbor was so peaceful. The breakfast was fantastic...the hugest most delicious omelet I've ever had. A bit more pricey than some of our other lodging options but well worth every dime. The walk into town is 10-15 minutes but we enjoyed it. There is parking if you choose not to walk.
