“Castlewood House is simply amazing (note: traveled with baby)”

We had the most amazing time for our 4 nights at Castlewood House in Dingle. We stayed in 2 different 4-star properties while in Ireland, and the difference was significant - Castlewood House was FAR superior.

The decor is modern classic and impeccably done. The bathroom was luxurious and spacious. We had a large TV and DVD player in our room and (nice touch) Brian and Helen have a great selection of DVDs.

Thr breakfasts are, as noted, incredible. Helen's homemade scones are perfect - light, crumbly and just a touch sweet. And yes, the porridge was delish, with or without the Baileys topper.

We were traveling with a 3-month old baby, and they were just wonderful - the travel cot was new with soft sheets, and they were always willing to provide whatever we needed.

I can only echo the previous positive reviews. Our stay at the Castlewood was extremely enjoyable. The B&B is a short walk from Dingle. The room had a modern bathroom and nice view of the bay. The owners gave us a complimentary room upgrade. The proprieters are very welcoming and you feel that they truly want you to enjoy your visit. The restaurant and touring recommendations they provided were very helpful. I would highly recommend the Castlewood to anyone visiting Dingle in the near future.

“Castlewood was a Treat”

Castlewood House

We had a lovely one night stay at Castlewood House in Dingle. Our room was lovely, clean with a great view and modern bathroom facilities. Breakfast was wonderful. Brian, our host was very helpful in arranging dinner reservations for us at the last minute on a holiday weekend. Parking was easy and the location allowed for a short walk to the town and its nightlife and restaurants. The location was also perfect for our drive around the Slegh Head the next morning. It was easy to find.

Four of us flew to Ireland from Australia and we spent our first two nights at Castlewood House.
What a wonderful, unexpected experience!
Spacious, spotlessly clean bedrooms with huge bathrooms complete with jacuzzi baths, and a really comfortable, cosy residents lounge, The breakfasts were a real feast, my favourite was the porridge with Baileys and cream, and the wide choice was certainly better than breakfast in many 5 star hotels.
Congratulations to Helen, Brian and their team for creating a little bit of Irish Heaven!

We stayed at Castlewood House for 3 days last week. Brian and Helen are perfect hosts, I must also mention the other staff who were more than helpful.and gave help and advice when needed
Breakfast is suberb. What a choice! It rivals even the best hotels.
The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated.I would definitely recommend it.
