Your well bitten tour guide will show you through a small roadside zoo filled with crocs, monkeys, deer, small reptiles, and birds. As you gingerly step over crocodiles bigger than you basking in the middle of the zoo walk way, you are reminded that you are not in Kansas anymore. I imagine my family describing my violent death by croc to a Mexican judge who replies "She was in a crocodile zoo, what you expect - little chihuahuas there."
Feeding the deer and spider monkeys was a lot of fun. Be aware of the spider monkey's tail if you feed them. I was holding my bag of fruits and nuts in one hand behind my back while handing a monkey a single peanut. I was distracted by his cute little hands reaching for the peanut so he keenly used his tail to steal my goody bag. He then ran up a tree to eat and scoff at me.
I did get bit pretty hard by a parrot. Luckily, I was wearing a very thick sweatshirt and I was better in a few days. At least it wasn't a croc!
