The Hotel 16 was recommended by our friends and we can confirm it was the best choice. During our trip to Europe there was the best service ever in the Hotel 16. It is very nice small familly hotel were the hospitality of the staff overcame our expectation and experience.

We can highly recommend the Hotel 16 to everybody who plans to go to Prague.

We just returned from a 5 day holiday in Prague (October 6th to 10th). We stayed in Hotel 16, it has been suggested from a friend who was there last spring.
Our expectations were in the average but we have been positively surprised, the Hotel 16 is very nice because it is not a big hotel, we have found it very clean (I use to "smell" a room as soon as I enter in it to understand if it is clean and I use to look around to find the dust in the corners!) and the personnel is very gentle.
We choose a junior suite apartment at the first floow (room 11) with windows toward the internal garden and also the internal hall. The room (and all the hotel) seem new or recently refurbished, new furnitures, new toilets.
The shower is very confortable and big, I hate when you have the shower and water is pouring every where because the doors are not closing enough.
In the morning you can have a good breakfast including ham, salami, different kind of cheese and bread, croissant, yougurt, honey, jam, fruits,...
The hotel is quite well positioned, it is not in the center of Prague nor in the old town, but you can anyway reach every part of the town by walking, we used the tram 2 times in 5 days.
Arriving from the airport we choose not to take a taxi but using tram and metro. In about 30 minutes you arrive in the hotel with a cost of about 3 or 4 euro. Just take tram 119 out of the airport, after 21 minutes you reach the starting point of metro green line A, get it for 5 stops, then drop down at Muzeum stop, change to red line C for 1 stop and drop drown to IP Pavlova. Walk for 5 minutes, you are in the hotel.
The cost is a little better than the other hotels because it is not in the center but this was not a problem as I said before.
A nice surprise: you can order a cup of tea and they will bring it directly in the room, all for free. Small things that make your stay happy.
As a conclusion it was a positive experience, I am already recommending the hotel to some friends going to Prague in the next months.

The room was small but very adequate. We had a third floor rear and it was comforable and very quiet. Bath included an adequate shower and the air conditioning work just fine. Breakfast was included and was served with a smile. It included enough goodies to serve anyone's breakfast needs. Hotel is a bit away from the main stream, but is serviced by the tram, after a short walk. Suggest anyone using this hotel get a good tram map showing the routes. This will save you money. The cab drivers MUST be watched very carefully as they, for the most, have no integrity and will charge whatever they think they can get away with. (Note: the cabs summoned by the hotel, however, are just fine)
