“Loved The Staybridge”

Staybridge Suites Anaheim - Resort Area

Our stay was a family reunion. The bedroom setup was great, and two bathrooms. We were able to sleep 7 of us comfortably. The breakfast was great. There was something to eat for everyone. The laundry was free which was a plus from trying to collect enought quarters for the washer and dryer. Room service was offered from the place next door for those tired travelers. Pool was great. Hotel clean and well kept. I would stay there again.

“Going to stay there for the second time”

Staybridge Suites Anaheim - Resort Area

I thought this hotel was amazing. We just booked our second trip to Disneyland and staying at the Staybridge was one of our stipulations!!! Basically we booked our holiday around the time that we could get a room there, thats how much we enjoyed our stay. The staff was great, informative and helpful. The rooms were cleaned everyday and a nice little note was always left by the cleaning lady. I made sure I left one for her the day we checked out and I hope that she got it. I guess it all depends on the time of year that you go as far as how busy it is. But one would think that Christmas time would be super busy but as far as the hotel and pool area goes it may have been booked solid but the noise and pool area were never that bad. After a long day at Disneyland/California adventure I actually looked forward to coming back to my room and watching the fireworks from the window (yes thats how close you are). The breakfast was always good, the rooms are equiped with a full kitchen, dishwasher, full size fridge and microwave. We hit the grocery store (lots near by) stocked the fridge made sandwiches for lunch the night before. The shuttle comes to the hotel every 20 minutes and its a whole 5 minute ride to the park. I would definitley recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone

“Great stay at Staybridge Suites”

Staybridge Suites Anaheim - Resort Area

My husband and I stayed at the Staybridge Suites in June 2008. We had a one bedroom suite with a king sized bed and bath in one room and a room with another tv and sofa and chairs (etc.) and kitchen in the other. Extremely comfortable bed and very quiet. We were facing the basketball courts. The free breakfast every morning was wonderful. Waffles-pastries-bagels-eggs-etc. Everything you need. The people at the front desk were wonderful too. Friendly and helpful. Ryan was extra special-very informative and out going-a great asset to the hotel. We took the bus to Disney 3 days in a row-the only way to go-much cheaper and quicker than driving own car. Free parking at the hotel.
Only bad experience-the restaurant next door-The American Brassiere-awful awful food-and we will eat most anything. The chicken sandwich was dry and the burger was cold unfortunately.

“Overall Good Value for a Family Stay”

Staybridge Suites Anaheim - Resort Area

3 of 5 stars
Sydney Australia
Jun 28, 2008

We stayed at the Staybridge Suites with our two boys aged 6 and 8 for 6 nights for Disney visit. I cottoned onto them as I had stayed at other Staybridge Suites when travelling for business and thought it would be great for kids.

We arrived late and were greeted by a friendly receptionist. Once in the room my first impression was that it was small (it was a one bedroom suite). My priority was to check email as I run my own business in Australia. I plugged in and it didnt work. Went down to reception for replacement cable and was told they were all out and maybe tomorrow someone would checkout and return a Cat5 cable. I opted for business centre and got my emails there - no drama. A little more concern or care would have been nice.

Breakfast was ordinary. Got Internet sorted the next morning.

Light touch room servicing was fine. Just what was needed.

Pool area was great!!. Spa broke down on second day (it wasn't me!) but no big deal.

Manager reception was a joke. It only operates 3 nts per week so we had one chance during our 6 nt stay, That night they had cheese and crackers and beer and wine - along with a lady we dubbed "beer nazi" who refused me to take a beer or wine to my wife pool side who was watching the kids. "Only one drink per person sir". That was after being asked to show my room key to ID myself.

We met some lovely people there and the staff were generally friendly, the beds comfortable and the sleep good. So all in all it was good.

We drove to Disney first day but with parking $12 we opted for shulltle after that.

All in all fond memories.

“Great place to stay!”

Staybridge Suites Anaheim - Resort Area

5 of 5 stars
California Central Coast

We had stayed at a Staybridge Suites in Rancho Bernardo last year and liked the hotel and its many amenities. When our 11-year old granddaughter made her first solo trip this year, we decided to book a two-bedroom suite at the Anaheim resort for a week. We toured Disneyland, California Adventure, Knott's Berry Farm, Soak City, Hollywood, and Catalina, and the hotel was close to everything.

We were favorably impressed with nearly all aspects of the hotel. The suite had a living area, kitchen (with dish washer and detergent!), two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and three televisions. The beds were very comfortable. There were many free services, including a good breakfast buffet (with different breads, cereals, make your own waffles, fruit, eggs, and either bacon or sausage), a hot dog and hamburger barbeque with wine on Wednesday, and a manager's happy hour on Tuesday and Thursday. There also was a free laundramat, internet service, and parking. We were there over Memorial Day weekend, and the hotel must have been sold out, with lots of families and kids. However, our room was quiet, the breakfast buffet was quickly replinished, and the pool large enough to accommodate everyone (although it ran out of towels by the end of the day). The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our only problem was the minimal housekeeping which included emptying trash and replacing towels but not making the bed or cleaning the bathroom. The hotel charges a very reasonable rate ($199/night), which may explain the level of service.

There also was a transit bus to Disneyland ($3/person/day) that picked up passengers at the hotel right next door and only made a few stops (route 12). It ran every 20-30 minutes and stopped close to the Disneyland entrance. This was very convenient and saved money on parking.
