“Best Kept Secret of Marrakesh”

Riad Zolah

We knew we were in for a treat before we arrived, but it was impossible to foresee the amazing experience of Riad Zolah. We were ready to find an exceptional place with great style, but we did not want to spend a fortune.
Riad Zolah is one of the most beautiful guesthouses in Marrakesh; with ornate wood work, old doors, and all the fantastic moroccan charm you could ever wish for. It is intimate, charming, and romantic.
The difference is not only with the style, it is in the service. We have been cared for like family, but better. The team has been very gracious, and extremely kind and generous; everything you need to make you feel at ease, comfortable, and welcome.
This is a unique experience only the lucky few will ever be able to enjoy, in a city that is filled with charm and adventure; a sincere thank you from us, and let it be known that Marrakesh owes you big time for making us feel at home!

We have just returned from a fabulous weekend at Riad Zola. Fatima and the rest of the team could not have done more to make our stay at this gorgeous Riad perfect.

It was a great mix of being right in the heart of everything whilst still being increadibly peaceful and cool (great when the temperature hits the 40's!).

“Wonderful place to stay”

We stayed at the Zolah in May 2008 and were lucky enough to secure a booking only the week before. We had to change rooms each of the three nights we were there, but it was actually lovely to get to see three of the rooms. We stayed in Suites 2, 4 and then 1. We probably enjoyed Suite 2 the most. It was very rainy the first night so we had a fire going the whole time we were in the room. Suite 4 has a more interesting shape (L-shaped) but the bedroom drapes you in miles of red fabric and lights up beautifully at night by candlelight. All three rooms were really nice and they set up a bed for our 4-year-old daughter in each. The courtyard and rooftop were also beautiful and the location was quite convenient to reach all the major sites in and around the medina.

The best part of the riad, though, has to be the service. From Fatima and Ismail at the helm, handling all the details of our stay, to the superb cook and wonderful staff, we never lacked for anything. The riad proactively provides for many things to make your stay as enjoyable as possible (such as a dining guide and a mobile phone), which we found refreshing and unexpected.

It deserves the "Hidden Gem" status on TripAdvisor.com. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it.

“Excellent in all aspects”

There is certainly a reason why this Riad is consistently ranked #1 or #2 out of 300 hotels in Marrakech. The level of service is outstanding, the hotel itself is beautiful, and they have thought of everything from big to small to make sure you have a nice stay. All of the staff, including Jeremy (the owner), are completely accessible via e-mail and will promptly answer any and all questions you have. As mentioned, they give you a free cell phone to use while you are there, free leather slippers to use and keep afterwards, free breakfast, free orange juice/coffee/tea/bottled water whenever you want, free wireless internet, free computer to use in the lobby, free laundry...the list goes on and on. They are willing to setup or assist in any kind of excursion. You really can't ask for more. Just book early and you will have absolutely nothing to worry about during your time in Marrakech.

“Perfection”

Riad Zolah

I can only echo what everyone else has said about the Zolah. It truly is a completely amazing experience. The warmth, professionalism and genuine friendliness from the whole team there is like nothing I have ever come across in my travelling life.

Little additions, like the use of the local mobile phone just show the level of thought that has gone into customer satisfaction.

The location is perfect, the rooms are spacious and inviting and the food prepared for us was some of the best we had in Marrakech. My girlfriend and I will most definitely be returning!
