“Fantastic relaxing stay with great staff”

Riad Zolah

We have just come back from spending the weekend at Riad Zolah in Suite 5 - the ground floor room off the Courtyard. We had a fantastic time! The Riad itself is amazing, it's quiet, has a lovely atmosphere, great decor and facilities; but even though the hotel was full, it feels like you have it all to yourself!

The location of the Riad is perfect - within walking distance to everything including the new town, which took around half an hour to reach. You also get used to the layout of the streets around the Souks, and very quickly are able to easily find your way around and back to the Riad!!

The room was ace! The size of the room was great, plenty of space for our luggage and souvenirs. The iPod dock was a great addition to the room which we made use of regularly. The bathroom was great too, fab shower and gorgeous brass sink!

The staff are so friendly and helpful, they're always around somewhere to help with whatever you need. We took loads of advice from the staff on bartering and places to visit and it really helped us get the best from Marrakech.

Staying at the Riad really made the trip for us, as the Souks are crazy, and it does zap the energy from you after a few hours of shopping in the sunshine. It was so nice to come back to the Riad to the peace and quiet, grab a refreshing drink and chill out by the plunge pool, before going back into the Souks for some more action!

We ate at the hotel both nights, as the food was delicious and eating on the roof terrace was brilliant. Tables are located quite far from other diners so again you feel like you have the terrace to yourself. It was a great end to each fab day in Marrakech.

Also just to reassure anyone who is a bit concerned about being hassled when walking around. It isn't anywhere near as bad as people imagine. You do get asked to look at things in shops, and you go get people including children asking for money, but on the whole, a simple 'No' and they go away. The city has a fantastic vibe and is a lot of fun! We can't wait to go back!

There isn't a single thing we would change about our stay at Riad Zolah. It was just what we were looking for, and more besides! We will definitely be staying here when we return to Marrakech.

Arrived on a delayed flight from Paris with my wife on the second leg of our honeymoon, very tired but our eyes soon lit up at the sight of this amazing Riad. We were welcomed with mint tea and cakes before being shown to our room which was suite 4. The room was large, fantastic facilities with great staff who go to a lot of trouble to please the guests. If i could give this review 6 stars i would!

A group of us stayed in Riad Zolah at the begining of this year and had an absolutely amazing experience. Riad Zolah made our trip extremely memorable and it has been our best trip to date! I cannot recommend Riad Zolah highly enough and would like to say thanks to everyone at Riad Zolah for taking good care of us & apologies for the delay in writing our comments!

The previous reviews are no joke or sham! This place really is the best!

We just got back from a week in Morocco including three nights at the Riad Zolah. We could not have had a more wonderful time. The rooms and staff at Zolah are subperb, with everyone going out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. Ismail, Fatima and Aziz felt like family by the end of our trip and we did not want to leave! They always had great reccomendations for food, sights, and so on. They are also a great source for getting a sense of "fair" prices for various goods available in the souks. Talk to them before you buy!

The food is outstanding, and everyone should plan on having at least one dinner on the rooftop of the Riad during their stay.

The rooms (we staid in Suite One for two nights, and Suite Six for one after returning from the Atlas) are large, clean and very comfortable...it was difficult to leave them each morning!

Breakfast servings are large, fresh and delicious and great for preparing you for a day exploring Marrakesh.

I can not reccomend Riad Zolah enough, one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.

“Little piece of Heaven in Marrakesh”

Riad Zolah

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at Riad Zolah in suite 2. After reading all the wonderful reviews it had a lot to live up to but it certainly did! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left nothing was too much trouble. As others have mentioned all the staff were attentive and nothing was too much bother - we asked to borrow an iron and they insisted on taking the items and ironing them for us!! Nothing sums up the staff better for us than the sight of Aziz smiling at 5.30 in the morning whilst he got our breakfast ready prior to our early departure. The room itself was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean.
The location was fantastic and being able to return from the madness of the souks (if you can find your way out!!) to the calm and peace of the Riad within minutes is priceless.
We shall certainly be booking here again if we return to Marrakesh.
