we had a fantastic stay here, the room we had was superb, we ordered on the hilton website which actually offered the best price i could find, i also joined the honours club and we were greeted with special reception drinks and special sit down service.
the views were superb and the buffet deal was wonderful.
the restaurant was great and the satff were so kind and played ping pong with my son, while i visited the superb spa.

I cant wait to stay again.

The Millennium Hilton met or exceeded all of my expectations. It is located directly on the river and has river taxis that pull right up to the hotel to take you where you want to go. This is much better than taking a taxi car as the traffic is something terrible. The Hotel and staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. My wife and I were upgraded to a suite on the executive level which had a GREAT view of the city. I would recommend anyone who is traveling on business or pleasure to stay at this hotel. I have not a single complaint about this property.

“Great stay!”

This hotel was great! We stayed here for 3 nights total and had them hold some of our luggage while we went to another part of Thailand.

The rooms are really spacious and the bathrooms have a modern design. The views from the higher floor rooms are awesome. The pool is beautiful.

The breakfast buffet was huge and quite tasty. They had multiple kinds of fresh fruits, cereals, pastries, breads for toast, bottled water and several varieties of fruit juices, an egg station, hash browns, waffles and pancakes, and other meat/lunch type of dishes like fried rice, chana masala, smoked meats, etc. The breakfast was really the best part of our stay.

There are also some local authentic thai places to eat just around the corner (out on the street) from the hotel.

The hotel staff was nice, friendly, and always attentive to our needs.

Taxi to/from hotel:
Btw, it cost us about 500 baht (fixed rate) for a taxi to this hotel. If you do a metered taxi, the price may vary as we found that some taxi drivers are not always honest. One trip from the airport cost us 350 baht on the meter + 50 baht because it was from the airport + about another 65 baht for the tolls on the expressway. But...the next trip that we took from the airport a few days later (same location) cost us 560 baht on the meter + 50 baht because it was from the airport + the tolls on the expressway. (In general, be wary of scam taxi drivers and people trying to rip you off in Thailand.)

Having read previous reviews plumped to stay at this Riverside Hotel.

A truly excellent hotel, great location very easy access to BTS via the hotel boat shuttle. Superb views, lovely rooms, fantastic staff.

Took advantage of the executive package offer, breakfast, daytime snacks and extended happy hour for 1400 Bht per day. easily got our moneys worth.

No gripes, wouldn't change a thing, try it. Get a room on a high floor for the views.

“Just Beautiful”

Millennium Hilton Bangkok

5 of 5 stars
Queensland, Australia

We loved our stay at the Hilton. The pool is exceptional and a definite must see. We stayed in club rooms and enjoyed the gorgeous views from the club lounge. We also went to the cocktail bar on the top floor of the hotel which is simply amazing (and prices aren't too bad either). The staff are professional if not effusive. We ordered room service one day and the food was beautiful. My only complaint was that the internet access in the club lounge is only available if you have bought your own laptop. Otherwise you must go down to the business centre and pay hotel rates to use their very slow computers. Not really good enough for a hotel of this quality. Who wants to lug their laptop around on holiday! I usually stay in club rooms and this was the first time that this was a problem. Apart from that small issue I thoroughly recommend this hotel.
